Obituary of June Edwards

Bedford-June (Givens) Edwards, 91, of 1420 N Street Bedford, died at 1:15 pm on Friday, March 4, 2011 at White River Lodge. Born December 18, 1919 in Illinois she was the daughter of George and Della (Delaney) Givens. She married James Robert Edwards on April 15, 1944 and he preceded her in death. She retired from the Bedford Public Library as a bookkeeper. In the 1940s she worked at the Times and The Mail and the Times Mail. Survivors include one daughter: Janine (Edwards) Eagan and her husband Steven of Bedford; one son: Bo Edwards of Bedford; one grandson: Taylor Robert Paul Eagan. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one brother Gene. Funeral Information Private family services will be held.
