Obituary of Sherry Sue East

Paoli Sherry Sue (Phillips) East, 66, of Paoli, formerly of Bedford, died at 10:02 pm on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at Paoli Health & Living Center. Born June 11, 1948 in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of Elmer and Charlene (Watkins) Phillips. She married Charles Charlie East and he survives. She was a homemaker and a wonderful wife, mother, daughter and sister. She was very kind and loving. Survivors include her husband, Charlie, of Bedford; a son, Charles P East of Louisville, KY; two step-daughters, Rhonda Mobley and Susan Roberts both of Bloomington; a sister, Cherri Linthicum and husband Walter of Lebanon, TN; two grandchildren and one due on Friday. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral Information Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Thursday, September 25th at Hanson Cemetery with Bro. Max Abel officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until 1:30 pm on Thursday, September 25th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
