Obituary of Rosalie Eagans

Rosalie Eagans Rosalie Eagans, 89, of East Oolitic, died Friday, February 27, 2009 at Millers Merry Manor in Portage, IN. Born May 22, 1919 in Jackson, KY, she was the daughter of William L. and Lillian (Grass) Roberts. She married Claude Eagans on June 9, 1962 and he preceded her in death in February 1989. She was retired from Kerns Restaurant and Hobbys Inn. She was of the Pentecostal faith. Survivors include two sons, Michael Luttrell of Lake Station, IN; Marty Eagans of Bedford; one daughter, Evelyn Terrell of Heltonville; one step-son, Larry Eagans of Bedford and three granddaughters, Crystal Sullivan of Bedford; Ida Poole and her husband, Gerry of Portage and Jackie Luttrell of Bloomfield; six grandsons, Brent Eagans of East Oolitic, Scott Terrell, Matt Terrell and Cory Terrell and his wife, Dena all of Bedford, Jeremy Terrell and his wife, Chelsea of Avoca, and Michael Luttrell and his wife, Jeannie of LaPorte; 19 great grandchildren; one unborn great granddaughter and several step- grandchildren and one aunt in Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, step-son, Michael Eagans and great grandson, Dalton Michael Terrell. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 3rd from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. Burial will follow in the Beech Grove Cemetery.
