Obituary of Loretta M. Eads

Bedford Loretta M. Eads, 79, of 1747 Maul Ridge Road, Bedford, died at 10:45 pm on Thursday, September 6, 2012 at I.U. Health Bedford Hospital. Born August 25, 1933 in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of Jesse Dale and Zena (Rogers) Ray. She married Merle Eads on November 3, 1951 and he survives. She had worked at M. Fine & Sons in Bedford and G.E. in Bloomington. Survivors include her husband, Merle, of Bedford; three sons, Ronnie Lee Eads of Avoca, Steven Dale and Randy Joe Eads both of Bedford; five grandchildren, Ryan Eads, Amy Gerkin, Austin Eads, Brandy Eads and George Eads; nine great grandchildren; two sisters, Juanita Reuter of Springville and Gloria Dean Poole of Oolitic. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Dennis Lee Eads; three brothers, Harold, William (Bill) and Roger Ray; a sister, Helen Hupp. Funeral Information Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Monday, September 10th at the New Union Cemetery with Millard Jones officiating. Burial will follow. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until 12:30 pm on Monday, September 10th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
