Obituary of Lorna Marie Dumond

Bedford Lorna Marie(Smith)Dumond, 76, of Bedford, died at 1:43 am on Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at Core Nursing Home in Bedford. Born December 11, 1931 in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of Sam and Rena (Cornish) Smith. She married Marion Delpha. She later married Arthur Dumond and he died on December 25, 1996. She was a homemaker. Survivors include two sisters, Drucella Ware of Indianapolis and Myra Sutton of Bedford; three daughters, Mary Tolliver and Lori Prewitt both of Bedford, Sarah Dumond of South Dakota; one son, Sam Dumond and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Marvis Smith, Loretta Smith and Clara Ann Smith, all in infancy; one son, John Delpha who died at birth. Funeral Information Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Thursday, July 24th at Dive Cemetery with Bro. Mike Eggers officiating. Burial will follow. Friends may call from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm on Thursday, July 24th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
