Obituary of Alberta Dillman

Williams - Alberta Dillman, 85, of 817 Dillman Road, Williams, died at 10:40 pm on Monday, April 24, 2006 at the Stonebridge Health Campus in Bedford. Born July 17, 1920 in Martin County, she was the daughter of Thurman and Pearl (Songer) Jones. She married Wayne Dillman on December 4, 1945 and he preceded her in death on June 2, 1984. She retired as a cook for the North Lawrence School System in 1984 and was a member of the Williams Church of Christ and the WIlliams Homemakers Club. Survivors include two sons, Keith Dillman and his wife, Cecy of Williams and Jay Dillman and his wife, Denise of Bedford; two sisters, Rose Queen and Carrie Troutman both of Loogoottee; five grandchildren, Lesley Deckard, Rita Dillman, John Dillman, Brett Dillman and Molly Dillman and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne, parents and step-father, Bert Jones. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 am on Thursday, April 27th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Steve Warren officiating. Burial will follow in the Williams Cemetery. Friends may call from 3:00 pm to 8:30 pm on Wednesday, April 16th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
