Obituary of Annetta B. Diehl
Bedford Annetta B. Diehl 98, of Bedford, died at 1:35 am on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at Stone Bridge Health Campus.
Born May 4, 1914 in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of Roscoe C. and Ella (Trogdon) Chambers. She married Wilford W. Diehl on September 21, 1940 and he preceded her in death on September 23, 1982. She was a school teacher at Needmore retiring in 1974. She was a member of Gulletts Creek Baptist Church and the Retired Teachers Assoc.
Survivors include two sons, James Diehl and wife, Karen of Bedford, Rick Diehl and wife, Elaine of Fayetteville; a daughter, Beverly Wilson and husband, James of Knightstown; six grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers, Morris and Winfred Chambers; a sister, Beulah Pennington and a grandson, Kirk Diehl. Funeral Information
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00pm on Saturday in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Lewis Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Hopkins Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00pm to 8:00pm on Friday at the Day & Carter Mortuary. Donations Information
