Obituary of William E. Delpha

William Eugene Bill Delpha, 85, of Trafalgar, died at 6:04 pm on Friday October, 22, 2010 at Community Hospital South. Born October 20, 1925 in Oolitic, IN, he was the son of Henry and Mary (Bellotti) Delpha. He married Roseanna Bailey and she precedes him in death. He then married Barbara Grayer and she survives. William retired from Ford Motor Company after thirty years. He was a member of Fairhaven Christian Church in Trafalgar and was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy. Survivors include his wife Barbara; one son, Mike Delpha; two stepsons Alan Ray Grayer of New Albany and Michael David Grayer of Greenwood; one grandson, Scott Delpha; four step grandchildren, Zachary, Maverick, Alex, and Nick Grayer; two sisters, Pauline Baker and husband Harold, and Ilene Wintergerst, and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Roseanna; three sisters, Mabel Lewis, Marjorie Christenberry, and Mary Ellen Delpha; and six brothers, Louis, Jimmy, Robert (Bob), John, Paul, and Harry C. Delpha. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Tuesday October 26th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Jeff Hauesperger officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the hour of service on Tuesday October 26th at Day & Carter Mortuary.
