Obituary of William E. DeFord

Bedford William E. (Peewee) DeFord, 67, of 1106 T Street, Bedford, died at 1:30 pm on Monday, June 25, 2012 at I.U. Health in Indianapolis. Born July 28, 1944 in Indianapolis, he was the son of Max and Betty Alice (Wright) DeFord. He retired from Reynolds and was a member of the Moose Lodge. Survivors include two sons, Eric DeFord and wife, Kathy of Indianapolis, Billy E. DeFord of Athens, OH; a daughter, Stephanie Williams and husband, Buddy of South Bend, IN; a sister, Diana P. Meadows of Bedford; five grandchildren, Cody and Samantha Chastain, Ross, Dylan and Alec DeFord. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Richard L. Wright, L. Danny and Joseph S. DeFord. Funeral Information A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Interment will be in the Clear Creek Cemetery in Monroe Co.
