Obituary of Goldie Kirk Davis

Bedford Goldie Kirk Davis, 98, of Bedford, died at 9:27 pm on Wednesday, March 30, 2005 at the Bedford Regional Medical Center. Born December 28, 1906 in Monroe Co., IN, she was the daughter of Luther and Elsie (Clendenning) Kirk. She married Doyle Davis on October 19, 1932 and he died June 4, 1970. She was retired from RCA in Bloomington and was a member of the Judah Church of Christ and the Central Church of Christ. Survivors include six nieces, Betty Sipes of Bedford, Kay Hedrick of Bloomington, Norma Bartlett of Bedford, Barbara Bartlett of Bloomington, Ruby Cracraft of Bedford and Bernice Ritter of Bedford; one nephew, Bob Sharr of Oolitic. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters, Pearl Sharr and Thelma McGlothlin and one nephew, Jim Sharr. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 pm on Saturday, April 2nd from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Larry Ritter officiating. Burial will follow in the Judah Cemetery. Friends may call from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, April 1st at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
