After years of being able to be with your dad, and months of "doing" for your dad, I know his absence will leave a void in you daily life. But isn't it nice to know that he really is in a better place, where there is no more suffering, or sorrow, or pain; where his thoughts and mind is clear, and the warmth and light of the love of our Heavenly Father is never dim. Although none of us are really in a hurry to get there, sure is nice to know that we can get there, and there are loved ones waiting to escort us through that golden gate.
