Obituary of Viola Lee Anderson

Bedford- Viola Lee Anderson, 92, a resident of White River Lodge in Bedford, died Tuesday, January 9, 2007 at her residence. Born March 9, 1914 in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of Cecil and Grace (Richardson) Lee. She married Wayne Anderson on September 20, 1935 and he survives. She was a homemaker, a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and of the Baptist faith. Surviving with her husband, Wayne, of Bedford is one daughter, Sherry Cummings and husband, Ronald, of Bedford; one granddaughter, Heather Cummings of Bedford; three sisters, Mary Francis Bartlett, Betty Sharkitt and Dorothy Hawkins all of Muncie. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Eugene Lee and Eddie Lee; two sisters, Audrey and Lucy Simerly. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Friday, January 12th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor David Ferry officiating. Entombment will follow in Cresthaven Mausoleum. Friends may call from 12:00 noon until the hour of service on Friday, January 12th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
