Obituary of Wanda L. Dalton

Buddha Wanda L. Dalton, 70, of Buddha, died at 2:25 pm on Monday, February 1, 2010 at her residence. Born November 14, 1939 in Buddha, she was the daughter of Calvin Bud and Vivian (Cecil) Shirley. She married Kenny Dalton on July 26, 1958 and he survives. She was a homemaker and a member of Grace Bible Church. She enjoyed traveling, antiques, quilting and spending time with family. Survivors include her husband, Kenny of Buddha; two sons, Ken Dalton, Jr. and wife, Shauna of Bedford and Brent Dalton of Bedford; one daughter, Pam Barnes and husband, Brad, of Columbus; grandchildren, Kyle Dalton and wife, Tiffany, Macy Dalton, Sable Dalton all of Bedford, Christopher Dalton and Valeta of Kansas, Ryan Dalton, Cody Dalton, Jackson Dalton all of Bedford, Jeremy and Zach Barnes both of Columbus; great grandchildren, Grant and Grady Dalton; two sisters, Sue Dorsett and Annetta Short; three brothers, Tom Shirley and wife, Kay, Larry Shirley and Nelson Shirley; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral Information A celebration of life will be conducted at 6:00 pm on Thursday, February 4th at the First Church of God in Bedford with Pastor Dave Mikulsky and Rev. Mark Duncan officiating. Burial will be in the Tunnelton Cemetery. Friends may call from 2:00 pm until the hour of service on Thursday, February 4th at the First Church of God.
