Obituary of Kermit W. Curtis

Bedford-Kermit W. Curtis, 89, a resident of the Golden Living Center, formerly of 1319 Bennett Road Bedford, died at 2:55 A.M. on Sunday, April 05, 2009 at the Golden Living Center in Bloomington. Born July 14, 1919 in Oakland, Illinois he was the son of John Sherman and Essie Idel (Hallock) Curtis. He married Josephine H. Lunsford and she preceded him in death. He was a member of the Gulletts Creek Baptist Church. He was a farmer. Survivors include three sons: Jack Hendricks and his wife Jackie of Avon, IN, Jerry Davis and his companion Pam Bay of Bloomington, and John Davis and his wife Linda of Bedford; one daughter: Judy Walters and her husband Rex of Bloomington; 17 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife of 47 years Josephine, one daughter Margueritte Kinser, one son Donald Hendricks, one grand son Darren Hendricks, and six brothers and sisters. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, April 8th at the Gulletts Creek Baptist Church with Pastor Billy Brim officiating. A graveside committal service will follow at 2:30 P.M.in the Valhalla Memory Gardens in Bloomington. Friends may call from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, April 7th at the Day & Carter Mortuary in Bedford, and from 11:00 A.M. until the hour of service on Wednesday, April 8th at the Gulletts Creek Baptist Church.
