Obituary of Mary E. Criswell

Franklin, IN-Mary E. Criswell, 94, of Franklin, IN passed away Saturday, March 17, 2012 at the United Methodist Home in Franklin, IN. Born August 17, 1917 in Lawrence County, IN she was the daughter of Marion G. and Emma E. (Allen) Brinegar. She married Loman V. Criswell on November 11, 1942 and he preceded her in death on May 29, 1994. She was a member of the First Church of God in Bedford and the WCG at the First Church of God. Survivors include one daughter Suzy Benner and her husband Lyman of Franklin; two grandchildren: Kari McMillin and her husband Josh of Franklin, and Ryan Benner of Franklin;two great grandchildren Molly and Callahan McMillin of Franklin,one sister in law Annabelle Brinegar of Indianapolis; nieces and nephews: Stephen Brinegar and his wife Patty, Aaron Brinegar, Peri Combs and her husband David, and Mary J. Smith. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sisters Eva Jones, and Bernice Leonard, and two brothers, Ivan Brinegar, and George Brinegar and his wife Roxie. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, March 20th 2012 in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. Burial will follow in the Beech Gove Cemetery. Friends may call from1:00 PM until the service hour on Tuesday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
