Obituary of Anah Louise Jenkins Crane

Fayetteville Anah Louise Jenkins Crane, 74, of Fayetteville, passed away at 11:51 am on Monday, February 17, 2014 at Franciscan St. Francis Heart Center in Indianapolis after an extended illness. Born August 21, 1939 in Bedford, she was the daughter of Byrl Thornton and Louise Frances (Goodman) Jenkins. She married Harold Lee Crane on May 21, 1960. She was a graduate of Williams High School with the class of 1957. In 1960, Anah earned a 3-year diploma from the Kentucky Baptist Hospital School of Nursing in Louisville, KY. She worked as a Registered Nurse for over 40 years, with most of that time at Dunn Memorial Hospital, where she worked as an obstetrics nurse and house supervisor. A member of the Fayetteville Baptist Church, Anah was a devout follower of Jesus Christ and was known for her strong faith and generous spirit. Anah is survived by her children: Holly S. Page and husband, Scott of Greenwood, IN, Gaylynn L. Breighner and husband, Andrew of Hanover, PA, and Michael L. Crane and wife, Julia of Fayetteville, IN; her grandchildren, Joshua L. Page, Jessica M. Page, Jenna M. Page, Nathan A. Breighner, Jacob T. Breighner, Zachary M. Crane and Isaac T. Crane; her siblings, David B. Jenkins and wife, Louise of Kensington, GA, Joseph C. Jenkins and wife, Susan of Harvest, AL, Elizabeth A. Hickman and husband, John T. of Bramble, TN, Mark T. Jenkins and wife, Rebekah of Humboldt, TN, Philip N. Jenkins and wife, Erin of Huntsville, AL; a sister-in-law, Teresa Jenkins of Fayetteville and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, James W. Crane, a grandson, Jonathan S. Page and a brother, Stephen T. Jenkins. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 22nd at the Fayetteville Baptist Church with Rev. Kenny Walden officiating. Burial will follow at Silverville Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, February 21st at the Day & Carter Mortuary and from 1:00 pm until the hour of service on Saturday, February 22nd at Fayetteville Baptist Church.
