Obituary of Hubert Craig
Bedford Hubert Craig, 98, of 517 Bex Addition, Bedford, died at 11:45 am on Wednesday, December 10, 2003 at his residence.
Born March 5, 1905 in Lawrence County, he was the son of Pink and Lula (Wagner) Craig. He married Pearl Eggers on April 8, 1922 and she preceded him in death in 1984. He was a general foreman at General Motors in Bedford, a past commodore of the Bedford Boat Club and a member of Gillen Post #33 American Legion.
Survivors include three daughters, Lavella Foddrill and her husband, Albert, Jean Baker and her late husband, Wayne of Bedford and Pamela Neeley and her husband, Ron of Heltonville; one son-in-law, Roy Baker of Bedford; seven grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one son, Kenneth Craig and one daughter, Marcella Baker. Funeral Information
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 13th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Merla Craig officiating. Burial will follow in Beech Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, December 12th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
