Obituary of Chester Earl Anderson

Bedford Chester Earl Anderson, 96, of Bedford, died Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at Westview Nursing and Rehab. in Bedford. Born October 17, 1916, he was the son of Earl and Mellie (Henderson) Anderson. He married Shirleen Mollet on June 8, 1985 and she survives. He retired as a machine operator from General Motors and was a minister for fifty-seven years. He was a member of New Life Trinity Ministries and enjoyed fishing. Survivors include his wife, Shirleen of Bedford; four sons Jerry Anderson and wife, Betty, Darrell Anderson and wife, Pam, Ferrell Anderson and wife, Judy all of Springville and Larry Anderson and wife Darnell of Bedford; four step-children, Jimmie Lee Mollet and wife, Debbie of Bedford, Robert Scot Mollet of Oolitic, Ronald E. Mollet and wife, Donna of Florida and Linda K. Ketchum of Danville, IL; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by parents, his first wife, Lillian; one brother, Bill Anderson; six sisters, Edith Godsey, Wilma Baker, Georgia Phillips, Betty Rollins, Helen Blake, Wanda Reuter. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 16th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Mark Brock officiating. Burial will follow in Hilltop Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, February 15th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
