Obituary of Helen C. Cornett

Williams Helen C. Cornett, 88, of Williams, died at 4:45 am on Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at Westview Manor in Bedford. Born November 23, 1920 in Hazard, KY, she was the daughter of Tony and Eliza (Parton) Noplis. She married Johnie Cornett on December 15, 1945 and he preceded her in death on May 8, 1998. She was a waitress at Tindalls Hardware in Bedford. Survivors include one daughter, Linda Thatcher and her husband, John of Orlando, FL; one son, Dennis Cornett and his wife, Michelle of Williams; three grandsons, John Daniel and Nathan Thatcher; one granddaughter, Whitney Cornett. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one sister and five brothers. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Friday, March 6th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with John Thatcher officiating.
