Obituary of Laura Maude Anderson

Bedford Laura Maude Anderson, 83, of Bedford, passed away at 11:00 am on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at Bloomington Hospital of Orange County in Paoli. Born June 18, 1926 in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of Ephriam and Laura (Prince) Covey. She married Carl D. Anderson and he survives. She was a homemaker and had been employed at General Motors. Survivors include her husband of forty-one years, Carl; their children, Lucky (Molly) Turner, Janice (Jim) Johnson, Marilou (Danny) Johnson, Bobby (Pattie) Turner, Linda (Glen) Kendall, Carla (Ted) Stites and Lisa (Scott) Burgess; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-four great grandchildren and nine great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Dale Turner and four brothers, Carl, Clint, Clifford and Clarence Covey. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Saturday, April 24th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. Burial will follow in the Hilltop Cemetery in Avoca. Friends may call from 10:00 am until the hour of service on Saturday, April 24th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
