Obituary of Larry Dale Abel

Kentucky Larry Dale Abel, 67, of Vine Grove, KY died on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at his residence. Born March 6, 1943 in West Baden, IN, he was the son of Preston Pete Abel and Louella Belle (Collins) Abel. He was a member of the Fayetteville Church and served in the U.S. Army retiring after 20 years. Survivors include; two daughters, Janet Waite of Dallas, TX, Donna Webb of North Carolina, one son; Larry Abel of Springville, four sisters; Alice and Joy both of Florida, Kathy of California, Kay of Indiana, five brothers; Ralph of Florida, Wayne of Kentucky, Max, David and Terry all of Indiana twelve grandchildren, five great grandchildren.. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Eugene, Billy and Darrell. Funeral Information Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, December 9, 2010 from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Bill Raines and Rev. Max Abel officiating. Burial will follow in Springville West Cemetery with Military Rites accorded. Friends may call from 4:00 pm 8:00 pm on Wednesday, December 8th at the mortuary.
