Speedy is in so many of my childhood memories...i grew up on 14 st it is home ...we are all family here mite not come from blood but comes from the heart ....he was an awesome man an always had a kind word ..when he moved away the neighborhood was not the same i seen him awhile back sitten on the porch with Mr. Brown i stopped my truck an jumped out an ran up to him an gave him the biggest hug he will be forever in our hearts an missed dearly ...heaven has received a very special man an i feel blessed to have known him (:

Speedy was a wonderful man. As a young girl we used to walk up to his "car wash", which was next door to my Aunt Mable's House, and buy bottles of soda out of his pop machine. He always kept change for us. He always had a kind word and a hug for everyone. He will be sadly missed. Our loss is Heavens gain. We will all miss his genuine smile. Hats off to a great man. He will never be forgotten.

I called him Uncle Levi because even though he wasn't my blood uncle, I thought of him like an uncle. He was always so nice to me. I will always have fond memories of him. God bless you all. I will remember you in my prayers. Love, Rosalind
