Obituary of Patsy Lou Child

Bedford Patsy Lou Child, 74, of Bedford, died Saturday, April 23, 2011 at the St. Vincent Dunn Hospital in Bedford. Born November 20, 1936 in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of Maurice and Maude (Goldsberry) Lewis. She married James R. Child on April 6, 1956 and he preceded her in death on March 3, 2009. She was a homemaker and a lifetime member of the Elks Lodge. Survivors include two daughters, Debra L. Norman and husband, Rick and Kim Child-Thomas all of Bedford; a son, Bradley S. Child and wife, Kay of Bedford; grandchildren, Cory Thomas and wife, Sarah, Hadyn Child, Haley Brummett and husband, David, Dylan Norman, Drew Norman and companion, Mallie and Laura Lundy; great grandchildren, Madisyn, Reece, Jax, Hadley, Kaden, Braden, Izaac and Imagan; a brother-in-law, Bill Baker; a niece, Pam Kruse; a nephew, Scott Baker and an aunt, Mary Covey. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Thursday, April 28th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, April 27th and from 9:00 am until the hour of service on Thursday, April 28th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
