Obituary of Ivan Neal Chase

Bedford Ivan Neal Chase, 86, of 3008-A Illinois Street, Bedford, died at 8:00 am on Friday, September 1, 2006 at the Bloomington Hospital. Born April 27, 1920, in Jackson County, he was the son of Thomas H. and Effie L. (Henderson) Chase. He first married Jane A. Kaney and she preceded him in death. He later married Betty J. Medlock Perry and she also preceded him in death. He then married Evelyn Miller Orr and she survives. He retired from the Bedford National Bank after forty-two years of service. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Bedford, the Bedford Masonic Lodge #14 F & AM, Scottish Rite Valley of Indianapolis, Gillen Post #33 American Legion, 40 & 8 and a veteran of WW II serving with the U.S. Army. Survivors include his wife, Evelyn, two daughters, Sandra Kay Brozowski of Georgia and Linda Lee Anderson of Bloomington; one step-son, Mark Perry of Bedford; three step-daughters, Aimmie Marie Ravenna of Bedford, Shellie Boruff of Bloomington and Elaine Brown; four grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren; two great grandchildren and one sister, Blanche Scherschel of Bloomington. He was preceded in death by his wives, parents, three sisters and four brothers. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Monday, September 4th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Bob Dailey officiating. Entombment will follow in the Cresthaven Mausoleum. Friends may call from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday, September 3rd at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
