Obituary of Reba Chambers

Indianapolis Reba (Speck Hadley) Chambers, 73, a resident of Hooverwood Nursing Home in Indianapolis, formerly of Bedford, died at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, April 13, 2004 at her residence. Born February 19, 1931 in Lee County, VA, she was the daughter of Doctor F. (Doc) and Myrtle (Hines) Neeley. She was a former restaurant owner and auto dealership owner. She was a member of the Flenor Chapel Baptist Church in Jonesville, VA and the American Legion. Survivors include one son, Jackie W. Speck and his wife, Janet, of Fishers, IN; four sisters, Nina Kinzer of Uttica, MI, Betty Heistand and Shirley Foddrill both of Bedford and Wilma Magnus of Crane, IN; one grandson, Chris Speck of Indianapolis; two great grandsons, Kavan and Samuel Speck both of Indianapolis. She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Brenda Sue Speck; five brothers, Wayne L., Danny Joe, Clarence, Ben and Bob Neeley. Funeral Information No services are scheduled. The body will be cremated. The Day & Carter Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
