Obituary of Donald Lee Cassidy

Paoli Donald Lee Cassidy, 62, of 1905 East County Road 300 N., Paoli, IN, died at 3:50 pm on Sunday, August 24, 2003 at Norton Hospital in Louisville, KY. Born February 24, 1941 in Indianapolis, he was the son of Robert Harley and Mary Ruth (Alexander) Cassidy. He married Donna McCauley on July 16, 1990 and she survives. He was a self-employed brick layer and a member of Grace Tabernacle in Orleans. Surviving with his wife, Donna are four sons, Ricky Cassidy of Orleans, Robert Cassidy of Paoli, Tony Cassidy of Spice Valley Community and Daniel Cassidy of Mitchell; six sisters, Flora Hall of Bedford, Aggie Watson of Lafayette, Linda Grissom and Betty Sanders both of Orleans, Rosetta of Ellettsville and Hazel Bush of Orange County, IN; three brothers, Perry Cassidy of Texas, Dennis Cassidy of Bedford and Gerald Cassidy of Mitchell; four step-children, Zeda Stewart, Steven Lagel and Timmy Lagel all of Lawrence County, IN and Angie Lagel of Florida; two grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Anthony Cassidy and one brother, Harley Cassidy. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Thursday, August 28th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Homer Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in Bryantsville Church of Christ Cemetery. Friends may call from 9:00 am until the hour of service on Thursday, August 28th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
