Obituary of Ethel Carmichael
Springville Ethel Carmichael, 82, of 847 Washboard Road Springville entered Heaven at 5:00 am on Sunday, April 22, 2007 at the Stonebridge Health Campus.
Born January 25, 1925 she was the daughter of Russell and Georgia (Curren) Smoot. She married H. George Carmichael on March 18, 1944 and he survives. She was a homemaker, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of the Valley Mission Church of the Nazarene and a past member of the Marshall Township Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary.
Surviving with her husband, George, are three children Donna Spaulding of Ft. Worth, TX, Robert Carmichael and his wife Nancy of Bedford, and Debbie Hall and her husband Butch of Leesville; eight grandchildren: Leah Lee and her husband Bryan of Ft. Worth, TX, Darren Spaulding and his wife Kristi of Saginaw, TX, Bryce Spaulding of Ft. Worth, TX , Laura Carmichael of Bedford, Sarah Roberts and her husband Chad of Springville, Dan Hall and his wife Toka of Martinsville, Joe Hall and his wife Nechole of Leesville, and Josh Hall of Leesville; eight great grandchildren, Rhydon Lee of Ft. Worth, TX, Peyton Spaulding of Saginaw, TX, Kendale Roberts of Springville, Levi, Luke, and Mady Hall of Martinsville, Jacob and Autumn Hall of Leesville; two sisters Anna Turner of Bedford, and Kathryn Deckard of Springville. She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, Henry, Sherman, Gene, Roy and Bud Smoot; three sisters, Mary Greer, Mattie Roberts and Addie Mae Smith. Funeral Information
Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Wednesday, April 25th at the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Duane Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Hanson Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, April 24th and on Wednesday April 25th from 10.00 am until the service hour at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
