Obituary of Robert Lee Allgood

Bedford Robert Lee Allgood, Jr. 57, of Bedford, died at 8:45 pm on Friday, December 31, 2004 at the Bloomington Hospital. Born May 27, 1947 in Bloomington, IN, he was the son of Robert Allgood, Sr. and Helen Mae (Thacker) Allgood. He married Maxine Prince on December 2, 1980 and she survives. He was employed at the Royal Dealership on E. 3rd Street in Bloomington and at the Dana, Inc. in Mitchell. He was a member of the Donica Church of God. Surviving with his wife, Maxine of Bedford and his parents of Bloomington are two sons, Robert Allgood, III and his wife, Cherrie of Fresno. CA and Nicholas Allgood of Bedford; one daughter, Clarissa Allgood of Bloomington; one step-son, Stephen Prince and his wife, Marie of Heltonville; two step-daughters, Kathy Halstead and her husband, Bob of Ft. Ritner and Cheryl Norman and her husband, Tony of Bedford; one sister, Sharon Hayden and her husband, Jerry of Bloomington; one brother, Mike Allgood and his wife, Judy of Ellettsville; eleven grandchildren, Jerry Allgood, Rose Marie Allgood, Robyn Allgood, Abigail Allgood, Anna Pemberton, Tonya Cunningham, Teresa Sons, Troy Carter, Tina McIntire, Tami Carter and Tanya Price; seventeen great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one sister, Vicky Raper Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, January 5th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Farrell Sowder and Rev. Kendall Hendrickson officiating. Burial will follow in Hanson Cemetery. Friends may call from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, January 4th and from 1:00 pm until the hour of service on Wednesday at the Day & Carter Mortuary. My Bob is away with the Lord. Death where is thy sting- no more Away to be with the Heavenly Father, rejoicing with the angels. Bob was a very loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and special friend to many. He will sadly be missed.
