Obituary of Lucille E. Baker

Bedford Lucille E. Baker, 85, a resident of Bedford, IN, died at 12:07 pm on Monday, September 1, 2003 at Dunn Memorial Hospital. Born June 30, 1918 in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Jacob and Nellie (Hoopingarner) Hobson. She married Lawrence L. Red Baker on June 20, 1936 and he died in 1995. She was a homemaker and a member of AARP and Farm Bureau. She was of the Pentecostal faith. Survivors include several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters, Gladys Tincher and Cynthia Sanders; one brother, Melvin Hobson; two sons (in infancy), Harold Eugene and Ervin Lee Baker and one half-brother, Bill Robinson. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Friday, September 5th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Kenneth Allen officiating. Burial will follow at Dixon Chapel. Friends may call from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, September 4th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
