Obituary of Patricia Ann Jackson

Oolitic Patricia Ann Jackson, 81, of 305 W. 10th Street, Oolitic, died at 9:45 am on Thursday, September 18, 2008 at the Stonebridge Health Campus. Born August 9, 1927 in Bedford, she was the daughter of Roscoe E. and Bernice (Franklin) Kirkman. She married Wilford D. Jackson on April 27, 1947 and he died November 2, 2007. She was a homemaker and a Pink Lady Volunteer at Dunn Memorial Hospital. She was a former Sunday school teacher and loved sewing and quilting. Survivors included one daughter, Ruth Ann Harris and her husband, Keith E. of Bedford; one son, Guy W. Jackson and his wife, Janet of Evansville; one granddaughter, Amy Harris Kendall and her husband, Don; three grandsons, Daniel, Patrick and Peter Jackson; two brothers, Tom Kirkman of Avoca and Joe Kirkman of Bedford; one sister, Joan Burton of Orleans. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one daughter, Ellen Lynn Jackson; one son, Steven Ross Jackson; two brothers, Robert and Bill Kirkman; one sister, Carol Pennington. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Tuesday, September 23rd from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. David Ferry officiating. Burial will follow in the Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, September 22nd at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
