Danny, Carol, Alan, & Cara, we are very saddened by your loss,knowing you all have done everything possible to make her comfortable, spending countless hours seeing that she was taken care of. We loved Peg so much, and she always had a smile to share. Carol she truly loved you...And Oh, when she talked about Alan and Cara, and then came along Coy and Chloe....She was a dear!!!! My grandfather and grandmother Thomas lived next door to the Sowders family and I knew them all very well. Peggy and I went thru school together and graduated together in 1948. She was a very sweet and likeable person. The few times I saw her at our class reunions, she so enjoyed talking to me about her son, Danny. She was so proud of him and well she should have been. My husband is a big sports fan and he followed Danny's coaching career very closely and loved to talk to Peggy about him. She married the one true love of her life, witnessing that love by never marrying again. My thoughts and prayers are with all of her family at this time. May she sleep well with the angels.

Dear Cousins, We were sorry to hear of Peggy's passing, she was a wonderful person and we all loved her a lot. She & Mom were always so close, now they can be together. Peggy always greeted everyone with her beautiful smile and she was fiercely loyal to those she loved. She was a loving Christian person who always tried to live by example. To the Bush and Sowders families. Sorry for your loss. Years ago I went to school in OOlitic,In.(6th grade) and have known Peggy and some of her siblings since then.Peggy, Bob and I worked in different parts of the plant at RCA in Bloomington but saw each other regularly for many years.We lived in Oolitic for 17 years and Peggy walked by our house on her way to the Oolitic Post Office and she always stopped to talk when I was available.My memories of her will always be of her friendliness,kindness and her smiling face when she stopped to talk.I have missed that since we moved to another area.
