Obituary of Michael Shaw Burkett

Springville Michael Shaw Burkett, 65, of Springville, died at 2:12 pm on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at I.U. Health Hospice House in Bloomington. Born March 8, 1948 in Peru, IN, he was the son of Orlin R. and Imogene (Johnson) Burkett. He was a carpenter. Survivors include three sons, David, Matthew and Jonathon Burkett; two sisters, Ingrid Fitch and Karen Wright; three nieces, Nici Vestal, Alicia Wright and Sarah Deckard. He was preceded in death by his parents and two nephews, Brent and Aaron Boruff. Funeral Information No services are planned. Cremation was chosen. Arrangements are under the direction of the Day & Carter Mortuary.
