Obituary of Timothy Garry Burgoon

Indianapolis Timothy Garry Burgoon, 43, of 525 Southerland Road, Indianapolis, died February 5, 2010 at his residence in Marion Co., IN. Born November 15, 1966 in Richmond, IN, he was the son of John Raymond and Lola Sherron (Gibson) Burgoon. He was a martial arts instructor in Bloomington and had recently completed training as a logistic specialist. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving from 1986 to 1988 and a retired professional boxer. He was a master of Chuan Fa and held belts in several other forms of martial arts. Survivors include a son, Benjamin Jacob Burgoon of Mitchell, IN; a brother, John Burgoon of Bloomington; maternal grandfather, Pastor L. Wayne Gibson of Richmond, IN and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral Information Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 13th at Lowder Cemetery with Pastor Dee Kinman officiating. Burial will follow. Military rites will be accorded. Friends may call from 11:00 am until 12:30 pm on Saturday, February 13th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
