Obituary of Ruby O. Brown

Bedford Ruby O. Brown, 90, of 331 Lower Leesville Road died at 1:42 am, Monday, August 2, 2004 at the Bedford Regional Medical Center. She was born in Lawrence County, IN to Elijah and Lora Ellen (Speer) Flinn. She married Luther H. Brown and he passed away December 4, 1983. She was retired from Extruded Alloys and she had previously worked for Travelers in Bedford. She was a member of the Pinhook Church of Christ. She was a very loving mother and grandmother. She loved her church, her family and friends and loved to work. Surviving are three daughters; Oleta McCart and her husband Dale of Bedford, Loretta (Sis) Garriott of Leesville, Connie Scott and her husband Joe of Heltonville, four sons, Donnie and his wife Delpha of Leesville, Jerry and his wife Cathy of Leesville, Danny and Terry of Leesville, sixteen grandchildren, Steve, Greg and Cliff (Moe) Stancombe; Laura Ragone; Lisa Zehr, Barry Brown, Greg and Kevin Garriott, Stacey Brown, Crystal Fisher, Jamie Brown, Dana Flinn, Tim and Tommy Brown, Troy and Roger Scott, five stepgrandchildren, Monty, Mike, and Marty Terry, Kristy Fountain, Karmen Byers, thirty one great grandchildren and two great great great grandchildren, one sister-in-law, Mildred Brown of Leesville and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Frank Brown (son) in 1993 and one great grandchild, also four sisters; Sylvia Winegar, Goldie Yost, Ora Collins, and Pearl Stafford, and two brothers; Edmond and Lloyd Flinn. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, August 4, 2004 at 11:00 am from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Bro. Mike Davis and Bro. Brad Flinn officiating. Burial will follow in Pinhook Cemetery. Friends may call from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, August 3, 2004 at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
