Obituary of Johanna Brown

Bedford Johanna Brown, 82, of Bedford, died Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at her residence. Born March 21, 1931 in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of Frank and Violet (King) Butterfield. She was a forklift operator for General Motors and a member of the Faith Mission Church. She enjoyed traveling with the Happy Travelers group. Survivors include two sons, Rudy D. Brown and wife, Virginia D. of Mitchell, Robert D. Brown and wife, Cheryl of Venice, FL; two brothers, John Butterfield and wife, Judy of St. George, UT, Jack Butterfield and wife, Marie of Bedford; five grandchildren, Joey D. Brown, Crystal Brooke Bissonnette, Sarah Elizabeth Moody, Cody Brown and Caleb Brown; eleven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Bob and Frank Butterfield; one sister, Evelyn Nelson. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Friday, November 1st in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Steven Hight officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, October 31st at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
