Obituary of Charlottie Darlene Brooks

Bedford Charlottie Darlene Brooks, 49, of 4192 Leesville Road, Bedford, died at 11:05 pm on Monday, March 27, 2006 at the home of her mother. Born May 10, 1956 in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of Stanley Vic and Patricia Jeanne Goen. She married Ron Brooks and he survives. She was a lineworker at Visteon in Bedford and a member of the IUE/CWA Local. She was of the Messianic Jewish faith, a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving during the Viet Nam war and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and cooking. Surviving with her husband, Ron of Leesville is her mother, Patricia of Leesville; three sons, Christopher, Joshua and Daniel Brooks all of Seymour; one daughter, Rachel Brooks of Leesville; two grandchildren, Luna and Gideon Brooks of Bedford; three brothers, Stanley Goen and his wife, Pearl of Seymour, Mark Goen of Nevada, Jerry Goen and his wife, Tracey of Medora; one sister, Donna Middleton and her husband, Phillip of Leesville; nine nieces; six nephews; a brother-in-law, Rodney Brooks of Mesa, AZ; sisters-in-law, Tracy Brooks of MD and Julia and Dr. Martin Goins of MI; five great nieces and four great nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, one nephew and one great nephew. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 noon on Friday, March 31st from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Michael Badgley officiating.
