Obituary of Josephine E. Brooking

Bedford- Josephine E. Brooking 91, of Bedford died at 7:40 AM on Saturday, May 26, 2007 at Westview Manor Nursing Home. Born September 12, 1915, she was the daughter of Harry A. and Chloie (Stultz) Wray. She married Lora E. Brooking on January 29, 1938 and he preceded her in death on July 5, 1979. She was a homemaker and a member of the White River Baptist Church. Survivors include one daughter: Patricia Terry of Bedford, three sons; Ed Brooking of Oolitic, Randy Brooking of Bedford, and James L. Brooking of Leesville, seven grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and two sisers Marie Lambrect, and Edith Blackwell. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Wednesday, May 30th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day and Carter Mortuary.
