Obituary of Ronal Dean Brock

Bedford Ronal Dean Brock, 71, of Bedford, died at 1:37 pm on Tuesday, August 07, 2012 at I.U. Health Bedford Hospital. Born July 28, 1941 in Lawrence Co., he was the son of Ralph B. and Mary Lois (Tolliver) Brock. He retired from RCA after working for thirty-five years as a materials handler. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, served in the National Guard, and was a member of the Bedford Boat & Sportsmans Club. He was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include eight cousins, Susan Elaine Hancock, Jerri Lynn Stewart and Sara Ellen Snyder all of Bedford, Sharon K. OConnor of Arizona, Patricia Ann Bennett of Texas, Mary R. Paulson of Georgia, William J. McHugh of Sarasota, FL, Jay R. Baker of Zionsville and life-long friend, Mike Thompson. He was preceded in death by his parents, five uncles, five aunts, maternal and paternal grandparents. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Tuesday, August 14th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Danny Goens officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, August 15th at the Day & Carter Mortuary where members of the Eagles Lodge #654 will conduct services at 7:00 pm.
