Obituary of Dean Merton Brock

Bedford-Dean Merton Brock, 78, of 2217 27th Street, passed away at 9:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 30th at his residence. Born on July 5, 1925 in Bedford, IN he was the son of Paul Brock and Edna Pearl (Roberts) Brock. He retired from Indiana Bell after forty years of service. He was a member of St. Vincent Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and Elks Lodge #826. Mr. Brock married Norma J. Marshall on December 8, 1962 and she survives. Surviving with his wife, Norma, is one daughter: Sara Snyder and her husband, Alex Rocky of Bedford; one son: Daniel E. Noble and his wife, Marlene of French Lick, IN; four grandchildren: Amber Noble, Chris Mills, Quiana Hall, Marshall Noble and four step-grandchildren: Sara Derringer, Alex Snyder, KayC Snyder and John Snyder; one niece: Susie Hancock and one nephew: Ronal Dean Brock. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: Ralph and Ronal Brock. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, January 2nd at the St. Vincent Catholic Church with Father Bernie Cox officiating. Burial will follow in Beech Grove Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday, January 1st 2004 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Day & Carter Mortuary with rosary services conducted at 7:00 P.M.
