Obituary of Jimmie Drew Brock

Jimmie Drew Brock, 63, of 8 Maddox Lane, Bedford, IN, died Friday, April 8 at his residence. Born November 13, 1947 in Bedford, he was the son of James Harold and Elsie Lorrain (Kern) Brock. Jimmie married Nancy Prunty on February 18, 1967. He was a farmer and a card carrying Journeyman at General Motors Central Foundry. Jimmie was a member of the UAW. Survivors include his wife Nancy Brock of 44 years; two sons, Jeffrey Harold Brock of Bedford, and James Drew J.D. Brock and wife Amber of Bedford; one daughter, Lori Brock of Bedford; one brother, Kenny Brock of Bedford; two sisters, Mona Cobb and husband Bill of Guthrie, and Myra England and husband Denver of Bedford; two grandchildren Matthew and Hannah whom he raised; eight grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Jimmie was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Toni Anne Brock; and one grandson, Jacob Brock. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Aaron Levering officiating. Burial will follow at Beech Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday, April 11th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
