Obituary of Frankie Sue Brinegar

Vincennes Frankie Sue Brinegar, 73, of Vincennes passed away at home surrounded by her family on January 27, 2010 in Knox County. She was born on February 13, 1936, in Bedford, IN the daughter of Frank and Lucille Johnson who preceded her in death. Frankie was a homemaker first, being the mother of four boys and a retired Wal-Mart employee of 21 years where she greeted everyone with smiles. She graduated from Shawswick High School and had been a member of Erie United Methodist Church, active in Girl Scouts among other activities in her early years. Survivors include her husband, Kenneth (Kenny) Brinegar, whom she married November 24, 1954 and was the love of her life; sons and their spouses, Ken and Lisa Brinegar of Alpharetta, GA; Karl and Leah Brinegar of Bedford; Kevin and JoEllen Brinegar of Bedford; Kurt and Tracy Brinegar of Terre Haute; ten grandchildren: Tiffany Brinegar-Hobson, Clint Brinegar, Ryan Brinegar, Kyle Brinegar, Skylar Brinegar, April Armstrong, Alison Armstrong, Austin Armstrong, Kirby Brinegar, and Bryson Brinegar; and one great granddaughter: Kensley Brinegar two sisters, Catherine Webster and Marilyn Jackson of Bedford; and one brother, Jerry Johnson of Madison, IN. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 30, 2010 in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. Burial will be in Clover Hill Cemetery in Harrodsburg. Donations Information . In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.
