Obituary of Nellie Alberta Bright

Bedford-Nellie Alberta Bright, 91, of Bedford died at 2:35 am on Saturday, March 29, 2008 at the Garden Villa Nursing Home. Born October 14, 1916 in Paris Illinois she was the daughter of Erwin and Minnie (Keller) Lysinger. She married Charles Bright, Sr. on November 15, 1937 and he preceded her in death in 1980. Nellie retired from the Wells Shop in Bedford. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Bedford, a Pink Lady volunteer at Dunn Hospital, a former member of the Hiking Club in Bedford, and the Lydia Group at the First Christian Church. Survivors include: one daughter: Janice Southerland and her husband Ralph of Florida; one son: Charles Bright, Jr. and his wife Ann of Florida; seven grandchildren: Todd Bright of Florida, James Bright of Illinois, Stan, Steve, Jon, and Greg Endris all of Bedford, and Melinda Lingo of Arkansas; 11 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother, and five sisters. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 1st at the First Christian Church in Bedford with Rev. Bob Dailey officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, March 31st at the Day & Carter Mortuary and from 10:00 am until the hour of service on Tuesday, April 1st at the First Christian Church.
