Obituary of Deloris Josephine Branaman

Bedford Deloris Josephine (Jo) Branaman, 79, of 312 Forrestview Drive, Bedford, died at 3:47 pm on Saturday, October 29, 2005 at the Dunn Memorial Hospital. Born March 20, 1926 in Marion, IN, she was the daughter of Floyd J. and Myrtle (Flinn) Prior. She married Nelson L. Branaman on June 5, 1946 and he preceded her in death on June 30, 1983. She was a homemaker and a secretary at General Motors and Reuter Insurance in Bedford. She was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Christian Church and a twenty year Pink Lady Volunteer at the Dunn Memorial Hospital. Survivors include two daughters, Debbie Bolton and her husband, Mike of Bedford; Diann Witt and her husband, Doug of Martinez, GA; four grandchildren, Brad Bolton and his wife, Teresa of Nashville, TN; Heather Bolton of Chicago, IL; Nathan Witt and his wife, Heather of Taylorsville, SC and Jennifer Martin and her husband, Mich of Simpsonville, SC and one niece. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, Morris and Clifford Prior. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Friday, November 4th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Gary Baker officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, November 3rd and from 9:00 am until the hour of service on Friday, November 4th at the Day & Carter Mortuary. The family asks that friends consider memorial contributions be made to the Mt. Pleasant Christian Church or the charity of ones choice.
