Obituary of Agnes Bowman

Bedford Agnes Bowman, 92, of 113 Hardin Ridge Road, Bedford, died at 5:45 pm on Monday, May 22, 2006 at her residence. Born May 14, 1914 in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of Homer and Anna (Jackson) Roberts. She married Arnold J. Doc Bowman on September 7, 1935 and he died on October 24, 1975. She retired from NAD CRANE and had been employed at M. Fine & Sons for several years. She had attended the First Baptist Church of Bedford. Survivors include one son, Herschel Roscoe Bowman of Freetown; two daughters, Dana Hobson and her husband, Ron of Seymour and Ann Gee and her husband, Duane of Bedford; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; seven step-great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren and one brother, David Roberts of California. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one granddaughter, Melanie LeeAnn Hobson, one step-great grandchild Funeral Information A private graveside service was conducted on Wednesday, May 24th at Cresthaven Memory Gardens with Rev. Kenny Adams officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of the Day & Carter Mortuary.
