Obituary of Robert Glen Inman

Springville- Robert Glen Vic Inman, 83, of 6982 State Road 54 West, Springville, died at 1:12 pm on Friday, August 10, 2007 at Dunn Memorial Hospital in Bedford. Born October 2, 1923, in Oolitic he was the son of Grover & Retta Jane (Harp) Inman. He married Katherine May Woodward on May 29, 1942, and she survives. They were life long residents of Lawrence County, Indiana. Mr. Inman was a 1942 graduate of Oolitic High School. He retired from Plumbers and Pipefitters Union Local 440. He was a member of The Bedford Congregation of Jehovahs Witnesses. Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Katherine; two daughters, Saundra (Sandy) Arthur and husband Darrell of Springville, and Peggy Martin of Avoca; one son Richard (Ricky) Inman of Bedford. Five grandchildren Robert Darrell Arthur and wife Beverly of Springville, Randall Keith Arthur of Oolitic, Kelly Dawn Arthur of Bloomington, Maureen Yvette Workman and husband Jerry of Springville, Melanie Yvonne Howe and husband Rick of Springville, six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren, two step great-grandchildren, and three step great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters Mabel Jones, Ruby Bough and Katherine Ferguson, three brothers Ora Wayne, Harold Richard and James Kenneth. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 am on Tuesday, August 14 at the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with Bro. Robert Edinger of the Mitchell Congregation and Bro. Doug Kimball of the Bedford Congregation officiating. Burial will follow in the Springville West Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday August 13 at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
