Obituary of Edna Lucille Boruff

Oolitic Edna Lucille Boruff, 98, of Oolitic, IN, died at 6:10 pm on Sunday, May 2, 2004 at Lyons Health & Living Center in Lyons, IN. Born December 22, 1905 in Greene County, IN, she was the daughter of James and Dorothy (King) Foddrill. She married Ralph Boruff on February 21, 1925. He preceded her in death on August 10, 1975. She retired from Woolworths. Surviving is one son, Gerald Boruff and his wife Linda of Rising Sun, IN, four sisters, Wanda Ingram, Bedford, Lorene Moore, Avon, Violet Kennedy, Indianapolis and Elizabeth Workman of Lyons. Four grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Lois Reynolds and two brothers, Dale and Leslie. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, May 4, 2004 from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pat Blyeth officiating. Burial will follow in Carmichael Cemetery in Monroe County, IN. Friends may call from 11:00 am until the time of the service on Tuesday, May 4, 2004 at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
