Obituary of Guo Zhang

Bedford Guo Zhang, 83, according to Chinese custom, of Bedford, died at 1:45 am on Sunday, June 29, 2014 at Garden Villa in Bedford. Born October 2, 1932 in Guang Dong, China, he was the son of and Zhuo Quan Zhang and Gui Qing Zhou. He married Zhao Ning Liu. He immigrated to the U.S. in November 1993. In November 1994, he opened Empress Court Restaurant with his daughter, Sarah. Survivors include his wife, Zhao Ning Liu; a son, David Zhang and wife, Cindy; a daughter, Sarah Wong; a son, Gary Zhang and wife, Toni; six grandchildren, Elizabeth and Emily Zhang, Ashley and Alex Wong, Jacky and Jalyn Zhang. Funeral Information Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Thursday, July 3rd at the Day & Carter Mortuary. Cremation will follow with a memorial service at a later date.
