Obituary of Bernice J. Boofer

Bedford Bernice J. Boofer, 87, a resident of Westview Manor in Bedford, died at 11:47 am on Tuesday, April 15, 2003 at Dunn Memorial Hospital. Born October 8, 1915 in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Charles and Emma (Stipp) Stultz. She married Price M. Boofer on September 21, 1967 and he died November 8, 1974. She was a homemaker and a member of Grace United Methodist Church. Survivors include one brother, Dale Stultz of Indianapolis; two nephews, Charles Stultz of Venton, VA and Richard Stultz of Bedford; two nieces, Nancy Stultz of Bedford and Doris Ann Holder of Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, Charles, Frank and Herschel Stultz and one nephew, Franklin David Stultz. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Friday, April 18th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Carl Leth officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Run Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, April 17th and from 9:00 am until the hour of services on Friday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
