Obituary of Jerry D. Boofer

Bedford Jerry D. Boofer, 59, of 1327 Zollman Lane, Bedford, died at 3:30 am on Sunday, December 14, 2003 at his residence. Born July 11, 1944 in Monroe County, he was the son of Edward D. Boofer and Wanda M. (Moore). He married Nancy L. McCart in 1963 and she survives. He worked at RCA in Bloomington for thirty-five years and then for Phoenix material Management. He was a member of Crossroads Community Church. Surviving with his wife, Nancy are one son, Bradley Dale and his wife, Jama of Bloomington; one daughter, Crystal Holmes and her husband, David of Bedford; four grandchildren, Kara, Adam, Anna and Nathan; five uncles, Robert, Russell, Richard, Ralph and Raymond Moore. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, December 17th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Ken Ransom officiating. Burial will follow in Mitchell Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, December 16th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
