Obituary of Arnold Woods

Bedford Arnold Porky Woods, 77, of 222 Westwood Drive, Bedford, died at 5:25 am on Sunday, April 20, 2008 at his residence.Born July 31, 1930 in Lawrence Co., he was the son of Basil and Maysel (Maudlin) Woods. He married Donna McDonald on January 31, 1988 and she survives. He retired from GM Powertrain as a die setter after fifty years. He was a member of U.A.W. Local #440.Surviving with his wife, Donna, are three sons, Arnold Woods, Jr. and his wife, Beverly of Norman, William Woods and his wife, Debbie of Mitchell, Michael Woods and his wife, Naomi of Campbellsburg; one daughter, Rosetta Elliott and her husband, Sam of Campbellsburg; one step-son, Steve Webb and his wife, Michelle of Springville; several grandchildren, step grandchildren, great grandchildren and step great grandchildren; one sister, Carolyn Cobb and her husband, Webster of Mitchell. He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Inas Foster, Anna Terry, Bill Woods, Nobel Woods (his twin brother) and Phyllis Marilyn Woods. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Tuesday, April 22nd from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Doug Elliott and Bro. Steve Goens officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, April 21st at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
